Credeur, Dollaway Victorious On “The Ultimate Fighter 7″
Team Forrest’s Tim Credeur and Team Rampage’s CB Dollaway were victorious during last night’s episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 7″, securing the final two spots in the tournament’s semi-finals.
After surviving an offensive barrage by opponent Dan Cramer to open the first quarterfinal bout of the episode, Credeur secured a fight-ending heel hook midway through the opening stanza to claim his place in the next round.
Dollaway, the tournament favorite, easily dispatched his quarterfinals opponent, Cale Yarbrough, via technical knockout due to strikes in the opening round.
In the semi-finals, Dollaway will take on Amir Sadollah while Credur will face teammate Jesse Taylor.

Im surprised…I was thinking CB vs Amir would be the finals…I still think the winner of that will win it all…

I’m with you Jason. Amir and CB seem to be the toughest to guys in the house. Although Credeur is super skilled especially on the ground, but his stand up seems to be a little vulnerable.
I agree Bsays. I believe they were focused on showing more in cage fight action and less out of cage house action. The only problem is that you don’t really good a good feel for the different personalities of the fighters nor do you get to see much conflict, beefs, confrontations or other drama in the house between the fighters.
Thanks for putting the results of the show in the title, I was doing a good job avoiding the results so I could watch tonight after work. Just another reason I need to remove this site from my RSS feed.
I agree Santos, It kind of sucks for us guys that don’t have a chance to watch it right away. At Least UFC.com lets you know there are spoilers.
can’t stand cb. seems like too much of a prick. he’s good…. for someone one tuf, but i can’t wait to see him face a seasoned guy that knows how to fight. this may blow everyone away, but i’d actually like to see him and bisping cuz style wise i think it would be a good fight. either way, i just don’t like when someone is ****y like that and seems to have little respect for others. even hughes is classy enough to be respectful of most people. i’m pullin for amir on this one, seems to have the most heart and the best personality. he’s a mini forest. oh by the way, after that fantasy fight where bisping beats cb, i hope they both get into a fiery car crash and die. well maybe not die, and maybe not fiery, but i hope something ****ty happens to both of em.

I PVR’d the show - since it comes on late where I live … usually watch it on the weekends.

group of investors led by Dana White have agreed in principle to purchase the UFC from Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta for an undisclosed amount. Included in this investment group is WWE’s Vince McMahon who will now own a minority stake in the company. They also have plans on taking the company public by years end.
At the press conference also expect Dana to announce that with the help of McMahon, who has extensive connections in the New York State Athletic Commission, they were able to get the UFC sanctioned in New York, and plan on having a show sometime in the winter at Madison Square Garden. That is all I have right now.
I think Vinnie Mac having a hand in the UFC is huge! That is really going to help the UFC as far as money, fans, and just overall publicity. McMahon is a true business icon. Can’t go wrong with that. As long as there isn’t a WWE/UFC crossover then it’ll be good.
