Report: Torres Fails Post-UFC 75 Drug Test

By: Kris Karkoski (admin) | Oct 4, 2007

Anthony Torres, who was defeated by Jess Liaudin in the first round at UFC 75, has failed a post-fight drug test according to a report from Yahoo Sports. The fighter tested positive for Boldenone, an anabolic steroid.

There is no MMA regulatory commission in England, forcing the UFC to administer its own drug tests and punish fighters for failed tests. In this case Torres was been released from his contract with the organization due to his poor performance, a TKO loss to Liaudin in the opening round.

It is not known if Torres will appeal their findings.

Seven other fighters were also tested at the event and all passed. The additional fighters tested were Quinton Jackson, Dan Henderson, Michael Bisping, Houston Alexander, Dennis Siver, Terry Etim, and Gleison Tibau.
