It’s nice that we’re getting the confirmed extra hour but I would sure love the Karo fight to get bumped in favor of the Guida or even Tommy Speer fight. I’m over Karo. Don’t get me wrong, I understand how talented of a judo star is but even a fan of tie-ups in fighting has to get slightly board of Karo just hanging on. Or, maybe that’s just me. Either way, if we got to see what Speer had improved that’d be nice and Guida always puts on a show.

its a bit weird that diaz won fighter show but lauzon is main event would love to see both thse fighters win and i think they will :)

  • White.Boy says:

    Here’s my picks:
    -Florian (second round submission)
    -Alves (UPSET)
    -Hammill (decision)
    -Diaz (Submission again)
-Edgar ( why is he even having to fight someone like Maynard, he deserves a much tougher fight)
-Alexander (slugfest, but irvin has never impressed me, even with his ‘lucky knee’)
    -Fisher
    -Manville
    -Neer (yeah, Neer)
    -Guida
    -George (submission)
-Johnson (Speers is a beast, but I think we’ll see him get knocked out)

this is the best fight night card ever

I really want to see the Din Thomas vs Josh Neer fight. I think that Din will win by submission, but it’s going to be a battle. White.boy, the only way Karo looses is if he didn’t train. It is always a possibility, but he should win. I would also have to say that it is not so much Lauzon being in the main event, as it is Florian(though I think that Lauzon could KO Kenny) Lauzon has won more fights than Diaz (in the UFC) but Diaz will have his day in the sun.

There are a couple of fights I would like to see from the preliminary bouts but I don’t see how you can chose ANY of them over Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard…. I was pissed when we weren’t going to be able to see that fight… Did anyone see any of Edgars fights?????? Gray was the one who knocked himself out wasn’t he???? Let em go at it….. Or just show all the fights for free, I’ll sit through however long it takes….

  • Eff Jay says:

Jinx8s, right there with you. It would be great to get to see all of them for free. I was pissed about the Edgar/Maynard bout, too. Glad to see that we’re definitely going to ge that one. Who knows, might end up bumping it even further and giving us all of the fights on the show after a while.

  • pecker says:

Why is Guida in the prelims? He has the most exciting fights in my opinion and really should be on PPV.
I am over Parisyan, great judo, yea. He will never be a contender now. I would much rather see the Gudia fight, even the Speer fight over Karo.
Love the Gray Maynard vs. Frank Edgar match.

Can not stand Manny Gamburyan, he lost me $100 at the TUF finale. If I knew he had shoulder problems I would not have bet him.
Why can’t Spike show all the fights? I am sure they will have a bigger audience showing the fights, than they would with re-runs of star trek, MXC or CSI.

  • Eff Jay says:

Clearly they want to sucker us in to watching more UFC unleashed. How many did UFC commit to giving them new material for? We all know we’ll be glued to a Guida fight on Unleashed when we haven’t seen the fight already.

  • FixXeR says:

I think we are about to see Diaz get owned by Pellegrino. I just dont think Diaz is that great…..but who knows.

  • hamsterwheel says:

yeah me to kurt pelligrino is just at a different lvl that nate, but that’s just my opinion. This is one of the three fights including florian vs lauzon, and edgar vs maynard that im really looking forward to..

Does anyone know when tuf 7 will air. It says it will air at 10 on wedsnday. But that is the same exact day ufc fight night is on. and i know they wouldn’t air it in the middle of the fight night …. or would they? if someone knows the whole deal, just comment

  • joel b says:

diaz is the man it is a bit weird how it worked out him not being the main event over j lau but i believe they are still testing him because of how he won the ultimate fighter because manny hurt himself i would really like to see a rematch of them again its like the hamil bisbing fight so its exciting either way diaz is young so he will have more time to develop as a fighter i knew him in highschool and he was barely starting it so he has been in the game for like a 5 years maybe so we will see lots more from him in the future bet on that
