I know this is a little of contant but i think every great thing starts some where and maybe we can start her lets make ufc like pride i belive we should have ufc rules changed just a little bit i think we should allow knees to the head of a downed opponit and kick’s as well because look at this shogun beats rampage jackson 2 years ago well i know he well never be able to do that agin unless it was a real fight or a pride fight i belive if that fight was in the ufc shogun ko in the 2nd round but that was just one fight out of hundreds just let me no what u think?

Lauzon vs Florian is a loy closer match than some of you think (Napoa)I can’t wait for Thomas/Neer, Maynard/Edgar, Fisher/Aurelio, Hamill/Boestch(sp?), and yes, Lauzon/Florian. What a great fight night card. It couldn’t hold a PPV card, but the fights will definately be worthy. I hope we get to see the undercards I listed, along with Georgie vs Roman. I will give my picks as well-
Lauzon(GREAT FIGHT!!)
Parisian(?toss up?)
Boetsch(bad, strong dude)
Alexander(KO 1st)
Edgar(I like Grey, but come on)
Fisher(hope he gets back on track)

Guida(First win in a long time before the 3rd ends??)

PS I think Florian is a bad ass too, but he is no better than Lauzon.
I love the none pay-preveiw events, its like watching college football. Guys that are up and coming superstars that have to fight twice as hard, to show everyone how badass they are.
This is a really good card this could be pretty close to a ppv card. Simply because all of these fights could be awsome. My picks

scotchydow I THINK IT IS GONNA BE A CLOSE AND GREAT FIGHT and i am not taking anything away from lauzon i just think florian is just to good fighter for him. the only fight florian has lost is to sean sherk and we don’t even know if that fight is considered fair (steriods). Florian has faced and beat better competition then lauzon. I mean c’mon the guy made it to the ultimate finale fighting at a division he will never fight in. Not to mention florian has finished all of his fights by submission or KO by the 2nd round except 1. close fight yes but florian wins and it does not even make it to a decision

Finaly we get to see Matt hamil fight after that unfair fight he had aganist bisbing. Matt is going to win this fight hands down.

I know I’m gonna sound like a dick right now but it’s ok. If you want people to take what you say seriously then please don’t type like a moron. You use one long run on sentence to try and get your point across and it makes me lose interest in anything you are trying to say.
I agree with CC. I think Matt Hamill sucks, all he has is grappling and he is not even good at that. Ya he can get you on the ground but thats it. Example : MIR vs Lesner! I think Spencer and Edgar should be on the main card fights. Whats up with Houston being on the main card, he got his ass beat by Thiago Silva who I think will be the next lightheavy title holder. What the hell is Dana White thinking , Houston beats Jarden, so Jarden vs The Iceman? Houston Loses to Silva, So lets put him on a main card. Its like the worst you are the better off you are in the UFC.
Sad to see Spencer on the undercard. He is too good of a fighter for that.

Why is everyone giving Lauzon soo much credit, didn’t he get man-handled by Manvel? Lauzon KO’ed a Jens Pulver who looked like he had just crawled out of a dumpster. Florian is the real deal and will punish J-Lo or whatever his ghey nickname is.

Did anyone not see Lauzon destroy his last opponent? The guy was 18-0 and Joe made him look like a little school girl. Since Joe has been training full time with BJ he has gotten much better.

That’s cause the guy was the size of a little school girl, he was like 5′ 5″ and had fought no-bodies, it means nothing.
size does not matter just look at manny the guy is a little beast
I think Houston is on the main card just because the UFC expects another explosive KO from him. Give the more casual fans something to watch. Hopefully Boetsch pummels Hamill like he did Heath and then they’ll be time to show at least one of the Edgar, Guida or Fisher fights.
My bets on Shane Carwin… he debuts that night. He’ll be the next and upcoming best fighter.

I read on MMAJUNKIE.com that this show is now extended to 3 hours. We might get to see all the fights for once!
