UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2 Sold Out
Tickets for UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2 are sold out the promotion today announced. UFC 83, which will be Canada’s first-ever UFC event, now ranks as the fastest sellout in UFC history.
UFC President Dana White vowed to return to the country in the press release announcing the impressive sales:
“Most of the tickets for UFC 83 were sold in the first 24 hours of our UFC Fight Club presale, and the rest were gone within one minute of the public on-sale today. I’m excited to say that this event is a sellout, and the fastest one in UFC history, so it’s safe to say we definitely will be back in Canada after this inaugural event.”
More than 21,000 fans will pack The Bell Centre on April 19th for the event which is headlined by a welterweight title clash between Canadian Georges St. Pierre and welterweight title-holder Matt Serra. Additional Canadian fighters include Patrick Cote, Kalib Starnes, Mark Bocek, Jason MacDonald, Sam Stout, Jonathan Goulet, and Joe Doerksen.

i no st.pierre is the massive fav for this fight but look at what happend in the superbowl plus what happend last time i no im asking an hopeing alot but im guna be shoutin for serra i dont like one sided fights so matt im on ur side plus im english so i dont want the french winning hahaha

If matt wins the same way as in UFC 69 theire well be a riot from HELL!
I like both fighters when GSP lost Hughes he came back strong. I think GSP is going to win this considering Serra had to have back surgery and may not be as active as he use to be. But I like both fighters it doesn’t matter to me who wins in my eyes win or loose they are both champions.

Matt Hughs beat GSP before too, and GSP made him look like he’d never fought before in the last fight, GSP isnt the same fighter he was in the first fight, GSP is gonna walk all over him just like he did hughs, hell he made hughs’ wrestling skills look amature and he took taht fight on a months notice, it won’t get past the second round and GSP will emerge with the title
