The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale Set For June 21st

The finale of “The Ultimate Fighter 7: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest” will take place on June 21st at The Pearl at The Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas reports MMAJunkie. The event, which takes place just one week after UFC 85 in London, England, will be broadcast on Spike TV.
The event will feature the finals of the 32-cast member, all middleweight tournament as well as a non-cast member main event. The card will be rounded out with fighters from the seventh season of the reality series.
The light heavyweight title bout between coaches Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Forrest Griffin is tentatively scheduled to headline an August PPV event.

Oh my God – August?? That means Jackson wouldn’t have fought in 10 or 11 months? The UFC needs to crack down on this crap about there key guys fighting one or twice a year (barring injury, of course).

rampage should have to defend title at least 3 times a year like other champs have or be stripped of title and have to try to win it back
