UFC is absolutely brutal. I went down to their event in Vegas on Saturday, then they post tickets on sale on Sunday so anyone who went to the event has almost zero chance of getting seats.

They made a big deal about the fight club fans being the core or the UFC and this is how they treat us.

On Friday, at the weigh in, the question was asked of the officials and GSP about the sale and no one knew the date.

  • johnboy says:

great card cant wait only problem is why have that prick danzig on the main card ide much rather watch ed herman, jason macdonald or sam stout come to think of it ide rather watch any of the preliminary bouts,

  • tubekid says:

I hear ya Johnboy but i guess Danzig the TUF winner gets the nod. Otherwise why have the TV show.

You would think if Cote is in fact on the card that would bump him up to Main Event status no??

  • Timo Mika says:

Dana Danzig before Cote and stout now give your head a shake maybe u have to up your meds to see everything more clearly.I mean how many more fights does cote and sam have to give you like there brawls in the past before they get the respect they really deserve.Man wake the f*** up already

  • Joe says:

I’m thinking that Cote will be fighting Leites if Thales will be healthy in time for the event. And I like the idea of UFC going with 10 fights on the PPV cards now. It gives them a better choice of prelim fights to show on the PPV to fill time and it also helps to build up more contenders.

  • Anonymous says:

Hey Drifter, you could of easily gotten tickets online like the rest of us 13 000 lucky suckers :-)

I saw a few rumours that maybe Ed Herman might go up against Cote whispered around the corners of the net. Take it with a grain of salt.

Either way the excitement and buzz around this event is great and I can’t wait to hear 22 000+ chanting G!S!P!

  • johnboy says:

to be fair any of the fights could be main card, i relly hope danzig gets beat any1 think he will?

  • DrBdan says:

I heard that Cote will be doing French play-by-play for the PPV. I don’t know why he’s not fighting as they seem to be trying to squeeze in as many Canadian fighters as possible. If he does fight I’m sure he’ll be on the main card, given that he’s French-Canadian and he’s won his last couple main card fights.

  • Lowcash says:

Danzig is a punk. I hope he gets pummeled.

  • puma says:

I just don’t understand why Sam Stout has been put on the undercard of the last two UFC cards he’s been in, especially after being the main event with Spencer Fisher and delivering a hell of a war. Don’t get me wrong I’ll take a good old American any day over a Canadian, but I have to respect when they “bring it” like Stout does.

  • Drifter says:

Hey Anonymous … I think you missed the point that it is kinda hard to get online to buy tickets to an event while I’m away at a UFC event … where they had no info on when tickets would go on sale – I spoke directly to a person from Zuffa. Does that not seem a little strange to you?

Incidentally, my Zuffa contact has come through and got me four tickets row FF section 112 … So I guess I’ll be one of those lucky suckers too :)

  • Del says:

just don’t be cheap, if a guy can spend 550 on a seat for the fight, 80 bucks for the fight club membership should be jack****, i’m glad it almost sold out, at least we know they will come back again

  • Chairman says:

Cote/TBA or Stout/Clementi should be on the main card ahead of Quarry/Starnes IMO. For the UFC, Danzig definitely has to be on the main card as the most recent TUF champ.

Makes no difference to me however, since I got my tix. Not great ones (dude’s gotta have a budget…) but I’ll be there cheering on with my fellow Quebecers and Canadians. War GSP!

  • Del: “I’m glad it almost sold out, at least we know they will come back again”

Good point man, but I still would have have preferred it if they hadn’t done a presale. I haven’t been able to get a hole of any tickets.

  • Kickboxing champ says:

I’M STILL WONDERING THEY DIDN’T PUT LOISEAU AS A COMEBACK FIGHT, HE’S TRAINING REALLY HARD AND WOULD OF BEEN PERFECT FOR THIS EVENT.
