Strikeforce will host its September 10 event at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio featuring the semifinals of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix, according to MMAjunkie.
The semifinal matchups include Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva vs. Daniel Cormier, who recently replaced an injured Alistair Overeem, and Josh Barnett vs. Sergei Kharitonov.
The Showtime-televised event also features middleweight champ Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Luke Rockhold, “King” Mo Lawal vs. Roger Gracie, Josh Thomson vs. Maximo Blanco, and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos vs. Jordan Mein.
Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante vs. Yoel Romero and Mike Kyle vs. Marcos Rogerio “Pezao” de Lima are also slated for the card, according to GatewayMMA and Sherdog.

I have to admit I didn’t think the Sf Hw tournament would get this far, so now I’m sorta interested in who wins now that the Reem is out because of “injury”…
I think now that AO is out I have loast all interest in this.. If AO fought and won the tournament then he would have had some headway to make it into a SF v UFC event.. It would have been fun and exciting :)
Now its kind of lack luster…

I’ll be there… Without AO and fedor (yea I know he lost) the tournament lost it’s wind… You can’t really even have the winner fight AO otherwise you question the legitimacy of the whole thing
