UFC Australia announced the matchup earlier today for New Zealand’s Te-Huna.
Te-Huna (12-5) suffered a first-round submission to Alexander Gustafsson in February, one year after topping Igor Pokrajac in his UFC debut.
Romero (11-2) also successfully made his Octagon debut over Seth Petruzelli last July before being knocked out in just 21-seconds by Kyle Kingsbury in February.
UFC 135 is headlined by light heavyweight champion Jon Jones vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and also features Matt Hughes vs. Diego Sanchez, while Te-Huna-Romero will be on the preliminary card and could see the loser at risk of losing their spot on the UFC roster.
