UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2 Tickets On Sale This Sunday
Tickets for “UFC 83: Serra vs. St. Pierre 2″ will go on sale this Sunday to UFC Fight Club Members.
On Monday, February 4th, the UFC is set to officially announce the event with a press conference at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The event, which will be the first UFC event ever held in Canada, has already been added to UFC.com confirming the main event welterweight unification bout between Canadian-native and interim title holder Georges St. Pierre and welterweight champ Matt Serra.
In their first meeting “The Ultimate Fighter 4 winner” Matt Serra posted a shocking TKO upset of then-champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 69 last-April.
Both St. Pierre and Serra will be appearing alongside Dana White for the announcement at 10am eastern time on Monday. The event will be broadcast live on UFC.com.
Following the event both fighters will be signing autographs for fans from 1-3pm ET. A special presale will also occur from 1-3pm at the Bell Centre allowing fans who attend the autograph session an early chance to get tickets for the event.
A presale for UFC newsletter subscribers will begin Wednesday, February 6th, at noon ET.
Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 8th, at noon ET.
Despite the nearly 22,000 seat capacity of The Bell Centre the event is expected to be a quick-sellout.

Who cares about Chuck Liddell…the guys a washed up bum…GSP Serra 2 will be the fight of the century!…Liddell and his fat stomach can o suck a fat one!
And for the record…Serra will not beat GSP…just wont happen…In their first fight it was GSP that beat GSP!
Yo.
I’m going to meet them this Tuesday back stage media stuff. I won tickets for a Toronto press conference (ufc83) via local pay per view contest.
I’m stoked!
iam excited to see serra lose so that matt hughes can get a chance to beat on him. serra is so overated granted he put his time in an he did have a supernatural day against gsp at ufc 69 but that wont happen twice
liddel vs shogun seems like a fun fight not sure how exciting it will be
Serra got LUCKY! If they fought 20 more times Serra would lose all 20 to Rush. GSP wasnt ready to be a champ pressure got to his head, but now he is
VencentVega, you are an idiot! To even say Chuck is a washed up bum shows that you don’t know anything about MMA. He looked real washed up again Silva huh? What a idiot!
To say Serra got lucky is a dumb statement. The man showed no fear and won the fight. The rematch will be good
vencentvega says: who cares about chuck liddell… the guys a washed up bum
i dont no if u was on crack when u wrote this but if ur willing to take back that stupid comment sure most guys will forgive you but if u stand by that comment u dont have a clue about mma and should prob go an watch the wwe john cena and randy orton are going at it soon should be a classic plus ric flare is back and still winning need any more info go to wwe.com should be right up your street! ie BULL****
Serra got lucky and hit maybe the one nerve on the top of GSP’s head that stunned him, eventually leading to his defeat. However, if you saw the last final destruction of Hughes….Farmboy hit him about 6-7times in the same spot and it had no effect on GSP. Brings to mind “Punchers” or better yet “elbowers” chance….
Serra is good, but not even on the same level as the saint. The crowd will blow the roof off the bell centre and send another Matt into retirement or back to Hell’s kitchen, NY.
Anyone can say anything they want about Serre St Pierre being a fluke. I love Matt Serra as a fighter and I gave him not a shot in hell. But he is an example of if you just want somthing bad enough and you just take it because.
Honeslty that fight in an inspiration in so many ways. And let’s face facts it ended fast but Matt put him away all the way in every aspect that night. People don’t give Serra enough credit for his stand up and his jaw is hard and throws bricks. Oh and he is the man on the Matt. But still when you add it up on paper GSP is a whole nother equation so will he loose again the Math says so . How about this save the math for the nerds.
Again there is that same man everyone said couldn’t win so he was infuriated he trained so hard already up a weight class from his norm 155 to fight a guy who should be up a class in the 185 in my opinion. Any so he prooved us all wrong and still the man gets no respect so do you think he is coming in any less intense -I don’t ! I think you are going to see two men of great charachter one a little bigger more gifted as a natural athlete the other one just plain tough and mentaly as strong as Neo in the matrix and whatever happens it won’t be a fluke I can garentee that. GO SERRA win or loose people need to give the man his respect.

Good posts!
Nice to see some highly entertaining and (in most cases) well written posts such as these.
I agree that Serra is NOT over rated. He’s a tough, talented, and determined fighter who seems like a bit of jerk, but a lot of fun to hang out with.
St. Pierre is the knight in shining armour, the impeccable warrior, and outstanding athlete.
He says losing to Serra is the best thing that ever happened to him.
If that’s the case, it’s going to be a heck of a battle April 19th.
I don’t think GSP is intimidated by Serra, nor is he traumatized by the loss: I saw them on a talk show; they were side by side, and St-Pierre very calmly gave a commentary on their fight as the clip played.
One thing I do know is he has respect for Serra’s fists, and is determined to be at his best in this match-up. That alone (plus the home crowd) should be enough for him to win this (my opinion).
However, anything can happen, and I am mentally prepared for just about any outcome.
I work literally right next door to the Bell Centre (where the event is being held).
Can you guess where I will be hanging out Friday night in Montreal right after my birthday?
May the best man win!
