UFC 131 Salaries: Dos Santos and Florian Top Payroll

The Vancouver Athletic Commission has released payroll numbers from UFC 131. The commission’s procedures have delayed the typically quick release of the June 11 card’s post-fight information.
Junior Dos Santos and Kenny Florian topped the $782,000 payroll earning $200,000 and $130,000 respectively.
As always, this is only the declared payroll and does not include additional performance bonuses or sponsor payouts.

Kenny Florian: $130,000 ($65,000 win bonus) def. Diego Nunes: $12,000
Mark Munoz: $60,000 ($30,000 win bonus) def. Demian Maia: $43,000
Dave Herman: $36,000 ($18,000 win bonus) def. Jon Olav Einemo: $15,000
Donald Cerrone: $40,000 ($20,000 win bonus) def. Vagner Rocha: $6,000
Sam Stout: $38,000 ($19,000 win bonus) def. Yves Edwards: $12,000

damn florian makes more than i thought. The dude is marketable but not THAT marketable. wel… he is a great fighter who’s very consistent when not fighting for the title or for title contention.

I still can’t help but to think that the mahority of these guys are underpaid. You get 6 grand… ok. Then you pay taxes… you pay your trainers… then youre left with what, $1,200? I realize that they have sponsor money too, but if youre making 6 G’s a fight, sponsors aren’t exactly beating down your door with million dollar deals. Meanwhile, Dana, Frank and Lorenzo are wiping their assses with hundreds.
Oh to be a boss.
