A lingering stress fracture has forced Gracie Jiu Jitsu specialist Roger Gracie out of his July 30 fight with Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal.
MMAJunkie reports this is the same injury that forced Gracie out of the IBJJF World Championships earlier this month. A tournament that Gracie has been champion of multiple times, including the last seven years.
The fight was supposed to mark the return of former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal. Lawal has undergone a lengthy layoff due to an extensive knee surgery to repair injuries sustained early in his fight with Rafael Cavalcante. No word on whether a replacement will be found or if Lawal will be moved to another card.
Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson takes place July 30 at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

No opponent for Lawl and Daley. What about make them against each other…….I know lot of ppl gonna bitch about weight class but hey we are talking about SF……
Daley has Woodley now
Lets scrap the Mousasi vs Kyle fight and give him a rematch with Lawal …… makes the most sense and winner fights hendo for the belt . Then give Calvacante vs Kyle, the winner of that matchup . Bing Bang Boom ………..
