Fukuda, who dropped his Octagon debut to Nick Ring in February, is sidelined indefinitely by a fractured knee suffered in a recent car accident that’s expected to require surgery, the Japanese MMA veteran announced on Twitter.
Philippou (7-2) and Natal (12-3-1) are both looking for their first UFC wins, as Philippou dropped a unanimous decision to Nick Catone in March and Natal suffered a loss to Rich Attonito and draw against Jesse Bongfeldt last year.
UFC 133 is headlined by light heavyweight contenders Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis and also features Rich Franklin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Vitor Belfort vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama.
