I like this card, no title fights but a good card none the less. I’m really looking forward to all the fights.

Hey guys, I know it’s completely off topic but I just wanted to show you this little piece that Cole Miller wrote on judging in MMA, he directed people to it via facebook today. Sorry that it’s off topic I just didn’t know how to share this with you guys because there’s no way to start a thread or anything like that. I found it interesting.

So is this main event a 5 rounder?

    • JAWBREAKER says:

I think Evans is going to take it. It’s to much to soon for Davis IMO.

      • jcohl says:

        Most likely.
The only ways Davis wins this is either by Serra effect or if Evans comes to the cage way less than 100%…

      • canberragirlshigh says:

Rashad is fighting Evans at exactly the right time for Rashad – sooner rather than later.

While I think Rashad will take this fight (via decision), if the same fight were fought in 18 months time, I wouldn’t be so sure of the result.

Big future for Phil Davis ahead.

@ jawbreaker this is only 3 rounds as the 2 main event fighters have already signed 3 round bout agreements

  • T.J. says:

    WRONG!!!!

UFC 133 is August 6th in Philadelphia! NOT August 27th! August 27th, they will be thousands of miles away in Rio.

I love you guys, but you should change the headline before people ‘panic’ like I did! :)

Wondering where the Edgar-Maynard3 fight will end up. Seems that the quick date adjustment to Philly no longer applies.

There is not a lot of talk about where it will land and other cards seem to have filled up with the next likely date not until October 8 in Houston – so the LW belt will not be contested for 10 months and then top challenger wont likely get another shot for another 7-8 months from now.

Does anyone else think it is strange that they don’t have Chad Mendes fighting on the main-card. Before he took this fight he was going to be the number 1 featherweight contender, and I would assume if he wins he will still be next in line for a title shot after Florian. I would have thought that fight would have been in place of the Rivera-Sakara fight seeing as both of those guys just lost in pretty dominate fashion. But I do think the Rivera-Sakara fight is going to be a really good fight.
