UFC 84 is scheduled for April 19th in Montreal, Canada at the Bell Centre. The event has yet to be officially announced making specifics hard to come by though that will all change on February 4th when the UFC will stage a press conference in Montreal to officially announce the event.

A welterweight title fight between Georges St. Pierre and Matt Serra will headline the pay-per-view event. Other rumored bouts include Rick Franklin vs. Travis Lutter, Evan Tanner vs. Yushin Okami, Jason MacDonald vs. Joe Doerksen, and Sam Stout vs. Rich Clementi.

Is Rick Franklin related to Rich? haha. Sorry, everyone else points em out, I dont want to be an exception

  • Drifter says:

More likely that the tickets go on sale Feb 9 – Feb 10 is a sunday.

  • Chairman says:

The Bell Centre’s roof is going to blow right off when GSP walks in during his intro! Never mind when he is actually announced as the winner and DW puts the belt around his waist! Can’t wait…

  • Chairman says:

Any word on how the tickets will be sold (through Ticketmaster or another company)? What is the best way to get a leg up on purchasing them?

  • jordan says:

your absolute best bet would to get a membership with ufc fight club. i haven’t used it myself but from what i understand members get first crack at buying tickets to all events

  • Del says:

i get tickets one week early with the fight club membership, 3 days early if you subscribe to the news letter

  • johnboy says:

fixXer do u get a buzz out of pointing out peoples mistakes get a life, if you got nowt to say about the story dont say owt

  • Andrea says:

Hey everyone…I have about 20 people making a road trip from Boston for this event and desperately want to make sure we get tickets. I’m thinking about getting the Fight Club membership but if not, is it a specific newsletter I need to subscribe to? I already get a couple…any help is greatly appreciated!! GSP!!!!

  • Kris says:

Andres – The official UFC.com newsletter is the one you want to be subscribed to though I will post a reminder with the presale password in the days before they go on sale.

  • Del says:

why would you post the presale code? people sell that code for 50 bucks a person on ebay, your f***in people out of payin money to get that code

  • DrBdan says:

Considering that the UFC Newsletter is free, the people on eBay are basically screwing people that don’t know any better. 50 bucks for a presale code? That’s ridiculous.

  • Andrea says:

I agree, I wouldn’t pay 50 bucks for the code. If anyone wants to share it then great and if not, I’ll hopefully be notified 3 days before they’re on sale to the general public. I only want the cheap seats anyways I have to get 15 of them! Thanks for the comments and if anyone hears any updates please post.

  • Dave says:

I will be looking to get about 4 tickets and am willing to pay $500 for each. We will be coming from Edmonton. What is the price range for tickets? How many people does the bell center hold for an event like this? How fast can we expect it to sell out?

  • Hey Dave,

I’m in Montreal and people here say you can squeeze 22000 into the Bell centre if they really try. It think the capacity will probably closer to 20 000.

That being said New York is is just a few hours drive from here and seeing as the sport is still banned there you can expect the tickets to sell out quickly.

    I can’t f’in wait!

  • Jon says:

There are always ticket agencies that will sell tickets from anywhere between 10 and 500% mark up. http://www.stubhub.com, and http://www.ticketsolutions.com
just to name 2. I will be there, and if I can’t get tickets through ticketmaster or admission (Ticketmaster’s sister company which sells tickets in the province of Quebec) I will be buying them through a ticket agency.

  • konafreek says:

I was talking to a guy at Montrealvip.com about tickets.Thinks ringside tickets will be $1000.00.

  • Del says:

thats pretty cheap for ringside, we sat ringside( 2nd row actually) at liddel couture 3 and it cost us 2000 each, ebay, cheap tickets, there is lots of different vendors, but ticketmaster is the safest

  • DC says:

Pre Sale tickets for UFC 83 go on sale Feb 3rd for fight club members

  • KellyS says:

Hi. Just wondering… are ALL tickets available if you are a UFC Fight Club member and buy pre-sale tickets? Or is it just the expensive tickets? Any help is appreciated!

  • maskell says:

Does anyone know if you buy a fightclub membership…do you get a code right away? or do you actually have to wait longer? I’m totally for supporting GSP in the ufc…But 75bones and not getting a code before Friday when they go on public sale???? I’d rather spend the 75 on my bone at CLUB SUPER SEXE!!!!!!!!!!! VIVE GSP!!!
ST.PIERRE FOR MAYOR, hope to see you all there!

  • maskell says:

BTW….Not sure what timezone mmafrenzy is in….but you are a UFC ahead???? GSP will win in UFC#83.

  • Kris says:

maskel – This article was posted prior to the scraping of a proposed UFC event in England. We’re hoping to have all the incorrect posts patched this week and corrected to the proper numbers.

  • Kris says:

maskel – To buy your membership go directly through Ticketmaster.com. The $74.99 will be added to the ticket price and you get instant access. I just did this for UFC 82 and then used the Fight Club website to get tickets for 83.

  • Kris says:

KellyS – All tickets are available to UFC Fight Club members from the floor to the top. Best of luck getting your seats, I just got mine today, perhaps we can arrange some sort of meetup in Montreal on Saturday prior to the event.

  • Kris says:

If you buy right from Ticketmaster floor seats are usually around $500. Might be a few rows back but if you logged on the first days the fight club gets them you should be able to pick them up at face value.

  • Del says:

you cheap f***s should just buy the $80 club card, I bought 4 tickets first level off the floor, 4th row for just over 2200 bucks including tax and express post and the rest of that ****, seats are 550 cdn(also 400, 300,200), which is bull**** cause they are only 500 in vegas. And for whoever is thinking about posting the presale code be careful, they catch you and they will blacklist you from any ufc presale, they only let you buy 6 per member, 5 if you only get the newsletter, ticketmaster claims they sold 65% of the venue out already, in one day, could be bull****, but you never know. And when you buy the club mem. the presale code is automatic and the same for all ufc’s, the code I used today was the same one I used for 74,(everyones code is different, thats how they know you gave it away when someonelses name shows up on the credit card info, and they won’t sell over the phone in presale) Good luck, and f*** is it gonna be great!

  • Del says:

and kris, you don’t know **** buddy, you phone and ask for a 500 floor seat and they’ll laugh, try 750 to a grand

  • beavis says:

Does anyone have the code for the newsletter code tomorrow? I havent received it yet and I am afraid i may have deleted the email

  • Mofo says:

LOL! the newsletter presale is cancelled!!! UFC organizers are unbelievable!

  • Liv says:

I want to buy tickets for my husband. Am I really going to see anything from the 300, 400 seats at the venue in Montreal. Also, a lot of website seem to be selling tickets, already, are these tickets safe??
