Brian Stann is going to have a hard time finding an Octagonal dance partner NEXT Memorial Day…

first and for most i gotta give props to my boy Ricky. he did exactly what u need to do aginst a striker like alves. stay close enough to him that he cant unload his visious leg kick or his power punches. it was no real suprise that alves TDD is a huge hole in his game and that played perfect into storys assault.
Travis Browne who?? Im sure we will hear that name again soon and it will come out as Travis Browne!! not much to talk about on this fight except the obvious. he circled the bigger man found an opening and unloaded the best superman punch we’ve seen in a while..end of story.
Brian Stann is movin right on up to contender status. jorge never presented any real danger and IMO looked a lil scarrred about 2 min in to it. he might want to think about continuing his path in japan as a champ cuz stateside isnt lookin to hot for him. cage rust could b a factor..but im betting on not, outclassed is a better statement.imo of course :)

i get that story is strong and good at closing the distance and takedowns…. but still Alves is just not the guy who fought GSP. That guy would have finished Story.
