Reinhardt Adds Two More Wins, Awaiting Next UFC Fight
Jason Reinhardt (20-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) didn’t let his disappointing UFC debut loss to Joe Lauzon at UFC 78 shake him. The lightweight fighter, who entered the UFC with an undefeated 18-0 record, immediately resumed training following the first round-loss several months ago.
Following his UFC debut Reinhardt has continued to fight for smaller promotions dispatching Cody Larson and Marcus Hermann in first-round wins in December and January. With his record now at 20-1 Reinhardt is simply waiting for the call to come from UFC matchmaker Joe Silva on who he will fight next.
“I am just waiting for the UFC to tell me who I am fighting and I will be ready to go. I never stopped training after my UFC debut loss. I can’t wait to show what I can do. I promise next time will be different,” Reinhardt told MMAFrenzy.com on Friday.
Though Reinhardt hasn’t yet been contacted for his next UFC fight the UFC has a busy schedule ahead in early-2008 and Reinhardt could find himself on any of the upcoming cards.

Right, I’m not saying he’s fought tough opponents but you do have to appreciate him staying in fighting shape. His debut wasn’t impressive but 20-1 is and anything can happen in MMA, regardless of your opponents records.
