Another Lombard fight, another “Holy sh!t!” knockout.
The man makes it look so easy, so often, that he gets overlooked IMO when MMA observers talk about the best 185ers.
No, the guy can’t beat Anderson Silva.
Neither apparently can anyone else, so thats a sh!t metric to determine 185 level.
He’s shorter than I am and A Silva just waits for guys to come after him, so, y’know, Vitor Belfort all over again.
Other than that, Lombard against anyone else at 185 is one he11a tough scrap…
You will have to admit that Lombard does have that right hand that could get lucky
on A.Silva’s chin ….. it’s a chance anyways .Or putting the height difference into play , if Silva tries the front kick and lombard can evade and shoot in quickly he could pound Anderson out on the ground .
In reality though I would like to see him fight Bisping , then a fight with Wanderlei silva would be in order . He should be able to whack them both out considering their games are tailor made for his style .
Also I think a Belfort vs Lombard would be a great , fast fight .
