TNA, UFC Sign Business Deal
The UFC and TNA have made a business deal for promotion of the UFC’s February 2nd UFC 81 pay-per-view event which includes the UFC debut of former-professional wrestler Brock Lesnar.
News of the deal was reported earlier this week by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer.
According to Meltzer the deal will include heavy advertising during TNA broadcasts on Spike TV and will also include video packages which will be aired during the broadcasts. The advertising will debut this Thursday and reportedly includes a video showing Lesnar preparing for his fight against Mir as well as a video of TNA star Kurt Angle analyzing the fight.

Bad move if you ask me…..
Why bad? It is simply a deal to aggressively market to a fan base that could be attracted to UFC. The UFC has been committed to bring MMA into the mainstream and this is just another step in that direction. Remember, there was a time when wrestling wasn’t mainstream either.
