UFC 83: Ed Herman vs. Demian Maia

According to graciemag.com, Brazilian native Demian Maia (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will face Team Quest Fighter Ed Herman (14-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) in a middleweight bout at UFC 83, which is still scheduled for March 8th though a venue is obviously not yet determined. Undefeated since debuting in 2005, brazilian jiu jitsu black belt Demian Maia, returns to the octagon after snagging a first round submission victory over Ryan Jensen at UFC 77.
Ed “Short Fuse” Herman will be making his sixth UFC appearance when he faces Maia, and is coming off of a third round knock-out victory over Joe Doerksen at UFC 78. Herman also holds notable wins over Scott Smith, Dave Menne, Nick Thompson and Glover Teixeira.

The Shortfuse will win impressively against a very tough opponent. He has always had a good ground game. Wait until ya see what he brings for this fight…making major gains as an all around fighter…will be bumbed if fight is not on payforview…
