A light heavyweight matchup between former 205-pound champion Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante and rising prospect Ovince St. Preux has been targeted for a July Strikeforce event, according to MMA Fighting.
Feijao (10-3) lost the title with a third-round TKO to Dan Henderson in March after three-straight wins, while St. Preux (10-4) earned three Strikeforce wins between November and January.
A welterweight bout between Tarec Saffiedine and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos is also rumored for the July event, which is expected to mark the promotion’s pay-per-view debut.
A non-title superfight between light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson and former top-ranked heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko is expected to headline the fight card that also includes Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Roger Gracie.

I would of liked Mousasi but this works
I have to believe that if Mousasi beat Jardine as most assumed he would, he might have had a spot on this card, assuming he was medically able…
I hear you, he didn’t overly impress in his last fight, that may have costed him a title shot.
Its gonna be hard to pay for this when we were getting it for free ….
……. one bad point to the SF sale , UFC wants too much $$$ from fans
Consider that actually contributing to the product not only makes it better for all concerned, but it’ll directly put more $$$ into the pockets of the fighters.
That being the case, $50 seems like a bargain IMO…
Chris “Cyborg” Santos should be on this card or have the Tate/Coenen fight
