Cage Force tournament champion Yoshiyuki Yoshida has been offered a four-fight deal to fight in the UFC and is expected to sign the contract on Monday according to Sherdog’s Jordan Breen.

Yoshida (9-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who fights in the 170-pound welterweight tournament, has won 8 straight fights. He opened his career with a win over Akihiro Yamazaki but then dropped back-to-back fights against Yoshitaro Niimi and Keita Nakamura. Following the losses, Yoshida hasn’t lost in more than two years including his DQ win in the 170-pound Cage Force tournament finale in December against Dan Hardy.

His first UFC fight is expected to take place in April.
