I just visited Tito’s website for the first time and all the info on it for 2008 is about the apprentice and other crap like that; nothing about fighting, nothing about Machida. Don’t think this fight is going to happen. In the above Photo doesn’t Tito’s huge melon kinda make him look like Homer J Simpson?

If Tito was hurt like he said he has been and this time off gets him healed and healthy, everyone is real naive to think he can’t be a force again. Tito is still good for the sport. Cut him a little slack…Let’s see how this pans out…

I don’t think that someone that wants to be known as ‘The Huntington Beach Badboy’ refuses to avenge a draw or a poor outing, whatever you want to call the fight with Evans. Tito is spending to much time making crap movies with his pornstar girlfriend and reality tv to be a real fighter anymore. By the way, I think Gene Simmons has worse hair than The Donald.

I think he wants to be a fighter.. I just don’t think he wants to fight… ha ha
As a kid playing football we had tons of people who wanted to play.. but didn’t want to get on the field.. I think tito’s glory days are behind him and he just doesn’t want to, or know how to let go and move on..

Good point, DrBdan. Regardless of the reason, I’m pretty confident he didn’t want a rematch, and doesn’t seem to want to be a fighter anymore.

I think I heard that an Ortiz/Evans rematch was scrapped because Ortiz was doing the Celebrity Apprentice. That’s pretty much all you need to know about Ortiz. Given the choice between doing reality TV or fighting again he choose reality TV. Maybe I’m wrong about that, but either way Ortiz hasn’t impressed me much in a while.

Who cares about Tito? I forgot he still “fights”. Maybe they should bring back Shamrock for one more go-round. That was some great fights,
not really.
