During today’s UFC conference call with the media in advance of UFC 80: Rapid Fire on January 19th UFC President Dana White wasn’t exactly forthcoming with information regarding UFC 83, the rumored March 8th UFC event in London, England. When asked whether the event was official White said that they were still working on their exact plans for March and beyond but that he expected to know more in the next several days.

Besides the date and city for the event, details regarding UFC 83 remain sketchy. The event is expected to feature Michael Bisping’s middleweight debut against Charles McCarthy. While the event has been confirmed to be taking place in London, a venue and broadcast plan have not yet been determined.

I hope bisping is on this card and loses in front of his own fans…wait, that happened already… matt hammil. bisping is a fag, and i mean that the way american’s mean it. his only redeeming quality is that he claims to have a friendship with ricky hatton who’s pretty badass. I wish Paul Taylor would get a little more of the press as far as british fighters go.

2girls1cup…haha…that vid is nasty. Not making the Bisping vs Hammill rematch happen is terrible. Bisping was to important to the UFC and the re-emergence in England. Evidence by his upcoming fight with Mcarthy. How can someone go from an emerging light heavy candidate to dropping weight and fighting a nobody. He couldn’t beat Hammill and Evans both wrestler’s..imagine what a true mixed martial artist would do to him.

In some ways hope he proves me wrong cuz i do like a guy who talks smack and backs it up. Makes it more fun.

i used to like the guy till he got stomped by hammil and then acted like he deserved the decision win. i’m all for a guy that talks smack (i.e. nick diaz) but have a little integrity as well. the guy’s a schmuck for acting like he didn’t get completely owned by hammil. he knows it too, that’s why he ran away to the 185 class. and it’s true that he’d get killed by a well rounded mma fighter. i would like to see him fight silva or henderson cuz his tears would be so sweet, lol
