“The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung has replaced an injured Nam Phan and will meet Leonard Garcia at UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26 in a rematch of one of the top fights of 2010, the UFC announced Wednesday.
Phan-Garcia was also a rematch of a controversial decision from The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in December that Garcia narrowly won, while he also edged Jung in their first meeting last April at WEC 48.
Garcia (15-7-1) dropped a split decision to featherweight contender Mark Hominick between the wins, while Jung (10-3) is making his Octagon debut after dropping both his WEC bouts.
UFC Fight Night 24 has also added newcomer Edwin Figueroa, who replaced an injured Nick Pace and meets fellow bantamweight Michael McDonald on the preliminary card at Seattle’s KeyArena, according to MMAWeekly.
The UFC Fight Night 24 fight card on Spike TV is headlined by light heavyweights Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Phil Davis and welterweights Dan Hardy vs. Anthony Johnson.
