UFC 81: Kyle Bradley vs. Chris Lytle
UFC newcomer Kyle Bradley is set to do battle with Chris Lytle at UFC 81: Breaking Point on February 1st.
Bradley (13-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was rumored to have signed with EliteXC with plans for him to participate in an upcoming event. Those rumors were quickly quelled after Bradley’s Team Voodoo teammate and UFC fighter Rich Clementi announced that Bradley was instead coming to the UFC. Bradley is a well rounded fighter winning 8 of his fights by knockout and 4 more by submission. Just one of his fights has gone the distance. He has not lost in his last seven fights including three straight first round wins.
Lytle (24-15-5 MMA, 3-7 UFC) first fought in the UFC in 2000 at UFC 28. Though Lytle owns just a 3-7 record in the UFC he has faced tough opponents in Matt Hughes, Joe Riggs, and Karo Parisyan. A contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 4 “The Comeback” Lytle dropped a split decision to Matt Serra on the season’s live finale. He last fought at UFC 78, losing to Thiago Alves in a controversial fight that ended after the second round as the result of a cut Lytle sustained.
UFC 81: Breaking Point takes place February 2nd at The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and airs on pay-per-view. The card is headlined by former-professional wrestler Brock Lesnar who takes on former champion Frank Mir in the night’s main event. The card also features a heavyweight title bout between Tim Sylvia and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Lytle is a good guy, I hope he gets a win here.
Lytle is going to get killed in this fight, sorry, but it’s true.
Lytle is going to light this guy up. His so well rounded and ready to fight.
lytle good at striking with a ground guy and wrestling with a striker.however bradley has won his last 7 fights via knockout.also black belt bjj.so what will lytle do when he fights (for the first time) someone that is far superior than him at both striking and the ground. sorry to say because i like lytle but this might be his last fight in the ufc.
I’ve seen both men in action and Bradley is the superior fighter in this match up.
Kyle is one of the Best Fighters that I know. He’s a great guy and I enjoyed taking classes with him, He is going to bring A LOT of pain to Lytle.I love to see him when he ” slides” in the victims blood across the ring. Its cool and Lytle is going to be his VICTIM.
You ROCk KYLE.
KYLE WILL KNOCK LYTLE OUT GUARANTEED.THIS WILL BE A GREAT START TO HIS CAREER IN THE UFC
Bradley is going to rock Lytle’s world!
Go Kyle!! Bring it to ‘em!!
having fought kyle before, i know what he can do…he is seriously well rounded and has some crisp skills standing and slick submissions on the ground…that being said, lytle is no easy task…he has been through many wars and fought the best…i’ll have to pick lytle just because of the experience factor in this one..but i’ll be rooting for kyle
kyle is going to kick his ass.
Kyle did great for :33 seconds! Lytle’s 3-7 record was too much for this kid!!
On a more serious note, Lytle’s had some bad luck, and that aside most of his losses come to the very best!
welcome to the UFC Kyle! This is for real fighters only. Too bad you and your fans on this site didn’t know that. Did Lytle even break a sweat?
Kyle kept his wit when Chris was speed & power punchin’! But the kick to Kyle’s left leg was the “clencher” for Lytle. You did Great Kyle! Lytle didn’t phase you when he punched. I KNOW you CAN take him DOWN!! THE WORLD IS YOURS! KYLE! Peace! Joe (& Vernon White)
Well… I just had to laugh at all of you chumps who thought Kyle had a chance against Lytle.
Are you kidding? I did like how Kyle tried to turn it in to a 2 for one fight when he was ready to put the ref in guard…
Chris has been underestimated time and time again. Ill put his heart againt and Fighter despite his record.
It’s funny to go back and read this stuff after a few months. Who is Kyle Bradley??? That was funny **** watching him trying to pull guard on the ref, ya he’s going to kick lylte’s ass. hahaha
The FAR SUPERIOR comments (for Kyle) are awesome
yeah this is funny. people always underestimate lytle. that dude doesn’t know when to stop even if its for his own good.
