Fresh off “Knockout of the Night” wins, rising lightweights Melvin Guillard and Shane Roller will try to continue their climbs towards a shot at the 155-pound title when they meet at UFC 132 on July 2 in Las Vegas, the UFC announced Monday.
Guillard (27-8-2) stopped Evan Dunham in the opening round in January’s UFC Fight for the Troops 2 main event, while Roller (10-3) came back to KO Thiago Tavares in the second earlier this month at UFC on Versus 3.
Guillard has won four-straight and seven of his last eight, while the WEC import Roller has won two in a row and five of his past six.
The matchup is the first added to the UFC 132 fight card.
