hell ya! hendo is still the man. 40 what?
More finishes. #props
Dan Henderson lays claim tonight IMO to the unofficial title of being MMA’s most decorated fighter.
Multiple titles in multiple weightclasses in multiple organizations.
Not sure what more can be expected from any man, let alone a guy at 40…
And what’s with that right hand? Has anyone done more with one punch than Dan Henderson?
besides only lacking ufc gold unless u count the pride/ufc merger, i agree that danny is one of..if not the sports most decorated fighter.
Dan has won ufc gold back at ufc 17 he won a four man Middleweight Tournament i know its not the today’s belt but it still counts
he won the little tourny yes, but ufc gold no. frank shammy was the belt holder at the time.
Congrats to Hendo on the victory. Perhaps now he’ll get the winner of Kyle and Mousasi which should be a great fight as well. Kennedy looked great and Coenen had a great comeback and showed the heart of a true champion.
Man Hendo just showed what a single hand can do! I was for sure rooting for him once I saw Silva on the other corner. But Hendo might not last long with his game plan which totally depends on the one hand. Fake Shield alrdy exposed it.
Actually until Hendo gassed due to a sh!t weight-cut which he claimed was inactivity-based, Jake Shields got the living p!ss beaten out of him.
Shields did grind out a decision against a gassed fighter, but in no way, shape, or form did his win “expose” Hendo in any way other than said poor weight-cut…
Definitely agree, Hendo’s condition cost him that fight. Now that he’s the champ, who’s next? King Mo showed us that Mousasi was helpless against a wrestler, and Feijao exposed King Mo’s problems with strikers.
Congratz to hendo. awesome dude!!
Plus he finally got the win against blackhouse :)
Fred I’ve a feeling if Hendo fought Mousasi he would stand and bang with him. I think if Hendo was in trouble he’d go to the ground game just like he did against Feijao. Would love to see it though.
@tc
I am with you bro, i never have and never root againts Dan Henderson but when i saw Anderson Silva in Feijaos corner ir made me want to see Hendo shove it in Silvas face whuch he did but Feijao did great and is a class act guy and still has his best days ahead of him but tonight Hendo dines in Blackhous blood and its sooo good.
LOL…….”dines in blackhouse blood”…..hell yah!
Dan Henderson is my hero! Congratz
Randy Couture is my hero!
Now all we need is Couture to beat up on Machida!
with the weird stuff that goes on with the judging at the ufc events, and the fact that couture can win a fight even when he gets totally destroyed.
id say all we need is for couture to get past all 3 rounds without getting ko’d. and he will get the win, even if he cant walk or does absolutly nothing but hold his opp against the fence for 3-4 mins of the 15.
heh.. I see what you did there.
So you root for one guy because the best fighter in the world is in the other guys corner. There’s only two guys in the cage when the door shuts. Its an individual sport and both Fedjao and Henderson are both very good sportsman. I for one was not rooting for either fighter because I’m a fan of both of them.
Congrats to Hendo…
How good would Hendo VS. Fedor for the LHW title be?
i personaly think hendo wud beat fedor, and not cuz he jst won either. hendo still has heart for the sport where i dnt see that same passion in fedor ne more. fedor is not gonna make 205 any time soon either,,,imo
I keep tellin you guys …..HERBAL MAGIC is Fedor’s solution :) he can lose up to 20 pounds in two months and they give you $11 for every pound you lose … its weight loss sponsorship and his wife will like the new man
haha
Welcone back to 205 DH !
Feijao is still beast don’t let 1 night fool you.
After mousasi fights kyle ….. have King Mo get a warm up in a return match .. then the two of them rematch with the winner facing henderson . Other than bringing in more talent from elsewhere there isnt a huge line for contenders at this junction . But with Hendo having the belt the tide may turn in the signing department
