Dana White: Michael Bisping In Trouble for Intentional Illegal Knee at UFC 127

UFC President Dana WhiteUFC President Dana White believes Michael Bisping’s illegal knee against Jorge Rivera at UFC 127 was intentional and won’t be booking the middleweight contender’s next fight until addressing his actions, which also included spitting at Rivera’s camp after earning a second-round TKO:

“Michael Bisping’s in trouble right now. Michael Bisping’s a guy who I liked and have had a good relationship with since The Ultimate Fighter, but I’m very disappointed in the way he conducted himself during that fight. I think the knee was intentional. I think he did do it on purpose. He saw him in that position, looked at him, then threw the knee. Obviously I don’t like what he did after the fight either. Mike and I still need to talk then I’ll figure out what’s next for Michael Bisping.”

In the interview before Thursday’s UFC on Versus 3, White also called out light heavyweight contender Rashad Evans for refusing to fight his “friend” Jon Jones, should Jones win the light heavyweight title from Maurico “Shogun” Rua at UFC 128 on March 19 (beginning at 3:00 mark):
