UFC 127 Weigh-In Results: Headliners Penn and Fitch, All Fighters Make Weight

Welterweight contenders BJ Penn and Jon Fitch successfully weighed in on Saturday in Sydney, Australia to make their main event official for tomorrow’s UFC 127 event.
The UFC 127 pay-per-view also includes middleweights Michael Bisping and Jorge Rivera, who squared off in a heated staredown, as well as lightweights George Sotiropoulos and Denis Siver.
The official UFC 127 weigh-in results were:
MAIN CARD
- BJ Penn (76 kg/167.5 lbs.) vs. Jon Fitch (77.2 kg/170.2 lbs.)
- Michael Bisping (84.2 kg/185.6 lbs.) vs. Jorge Rivera (84 kg/185.2 lbs.)
- Dennis Siver (71.2 kg/157 lbs.)* vs. George Sotiropoulos (70.8 kg/156 lbs.)

I don’t think it will be the lowest since this show is at least airing live, unlike many of the other overseas shows. And B.J. is still enough of a star that it will alright.

prob a typo… 119kg is less than 265
i know it says they all made weight, but i thought the cap was 265?

Last I heard you could only be 1pound over but Dennis Silver was 2 pounds.
He was given an extra hour and made weight
Bisping says that Rivera is trying to “get a rise” out of him. If you saw the weigh-ins, I think it worked! (At least Jorge apologized – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNUJTFjT4iY)

I’m looking forward to this card. Minus a title fight, this fight card isn’t bad at all imo. Can BJ keep off his back during this fight is my question? if so, i think he wins, but Fitch is such a good wrestler and can really wear on BJ, but i really think aside from GSP the only thing that can beat BJ is BJ himself. I hope he comes in to this fight really motivated to fight GSP, i can’t see GSP moving up in weight class if he has one last crack at BJ. For Rivera’s sake, he better win this fight after all the sh*t he’s talked!
