Alessio Sakara Joins American Top Team
American Top Team has announced that Alessio “Legionarius” Sakara has joined the mixed martial arts team.
Sakara (11-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC) has lost three of his last four bouts, all of which took place in the UFC. He made his octagon debut against Ron Faircloth in 2005 but the fight was ruled a no contest after Sakara was accidentally kicked in the groin. He secured his first UFC win at UFC 57 by defeating Elvis Sinosic but was then handed back-to-back losses by Dean Lister and Drew McFedries. After defeating Victor Valimaki earlier in 2007 for his second UFC win Sakara was matched up against rising star Houston Alexander. Much like his first fight against Keith Jardine, Alexander quickly defeated Sakara by TKO one minute into the first round.
Now united with American Top Team, Sakara will look to even his UFC record at 3-3 when he takes on James Lee at UFC 80 later this month.

UFC 55, Fury: the ABSOLUTE WORST PPV ever!
I don’t even think there is a debate. Everyone remember Paul Buentello fighting for the Heavyweight Title, losing in 10 seconds to a phantom punch? Pathetic, total waste of money.
it can only be good for this guy cos hes pritty pants for what ive seen of him!

Seriously who cares. This guy is such a Bum! Go Stevenson. Kick BJ’s cocky ass all over the cage.
Why is the UFC still letting this guy fight? He’s a bum.
