Paul Kelly and Gabe Ruediger Released After UFC 126 Losses

Paul KellyLightweights Paul Kelly and Gabe Ruediger have been released by the UFC after suffering losses at “UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort” on Feb. 5, according to Gareth Davies and MMA Weekly.

Kelly (11-4) earned “Fight of the Night” honors in a second-round submission to Donald Cerrone that dropped the Brit to 3-3 as a lightweight and just 1-2 in his last three fights.

Ruediger (17-7), a castmember on The Ultimate Fighter 5, returned to the UFC in August with a loss to Joe Lauzon that snapped a six-fight win streak then suffered a second-round TKO to Paul Taylor at UFC 126.
