Fedor looks more ripped than ever!!!!!!!!!! just playin
This should be an exciting way to kick off the tourney
when has fedor ever looked ripped?
True, but I don’t think he’s looked this ‘milky’ before. Must be a new form of training similar to Herschel walkers where he doesn’t lift any weights just does a couple thousand push ups and crunches each day. Fedor may have done a few less reps.
Yeah no kidding..geez..what was I thinking?
I know I get labeled as public enemy number one by the site’s Fedor fans, but honestly Fedor looked a lot more at the weigh-in like a dad who spends his days playing with his kid more than he does “the Last Emperor”.
I realize that Fedor has never been shredded, but today he looked positively…ordinary…
i agree, he has never looked shreded, in fact he usually looks a lil drunk going into the ring. however…. that being said…. if you ever watch him throw a big hook in slow mo with that keg on the front of him its SOLID muscle.. suprisingly enough.
I see Fedor winning this fight, but I would’nt start crying if I saw an upset either.
Then maybe all the reporters and Fedor fanboys will finally admit that Aderson Silva or Georges St. Pierre are the true P4P best fighters in the world.
But that being said…I would love to see Fedor vs Overeem in the final match up!
Then the winner giving Strikeforce the middle finger, and coming to the UFC to challange for the title.
Just emagine…Cain Velasquez vs Alistair Overeem for the UFC Heavyweight Championship of the world!!!!
I think I would hypervenalate, sh!t my pants, and pass out before the fight even started.
Ohh how it’s fun to dream sometimes……
It would be sweet to see Overeem and Cain butt heads, but I think Cain would end up mauling Overeem on the ground.
Fedor & Overeem, being on the same side of the bracket cannot meet up in the tournament final..They will meet up in Semi’s if both win their 1st rd fights
fedor may be out with a vengence after his las fight, but rin rust lays a part. im a fedor fan, allways have been. but realistic as well.
If cain doesnt eat a huge strike before he gets a takedown..
@TQR- That 3rd paragraph/stanza is fv<king hilarious!!
It occurs to me how someone like Andrei Arlovski could use this tournament to kickstart his stalled MMA career.
AA has commented previously that he’s “resolved his issues”, whatever that means.
I’m also hoping the guy has broken off his disastrous love affair with boxing, and pointless integrating too much boxing into his MMA game, and relies more on his SAMBO skills and well-roundedness to return to some sort of relevence in the sport…
I’ve always liked and been a fan of Arlovski, watching him fall way down the ladder like he has has been tough for me to watch. Couldn’t agree with you more, and even think he has the skills and potential in him to be top 10 again, but like you said he needs to quit trying to be more like a Klitschko and tap into his inner Emelianenkoness.
yea that makes a lot of sense
yea that makes a lot of sense
WOW ……….. talk about a big sponsor for the Fedor camp . He’s the new spokesman for Pilsbury products .
I just wanna poke that belly……HUH-HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
how is Rey Sefo only 249? He must be short as hell. I’d be afraid to hit that guy with a bat.
Ray Sefo was a bad man in K-1, and now he’s training to be a bad man in MMA at Xtreme Couture and specifically with Randy Couture, if reports are accurate.
His height is listed as 6’0″ BTW…
fedor has got his usual shape – but seriously check out the massive abs under the riot police fat buffer…
bigfoot looked pretty buff though…
the winner gets a coveted position as an underwear model for fruit of the loom
@Dan82523
Thanks for the correction. Did’nt think it through berfore I posted. But…it could infact still happen. Let’s say Overeem loses to someone in the tourny, and Fedor were to win, then we would see Fedor vs Overeem for the Strikeforce Heavyweight Belt.
Because the grand prix belt will be seperate from the Heavyweight belt.
Witch is one of the most stupid and confusing things when you think about it. In other words…this grand prix tourny, and the actual Heavyweight belt will not prove who the best is.
Who can say they are the real Heavyweight champion of Strikeforce. Especially when the “champ” is in the tourny.
Unless of course, Alistair wins the tourny as well.
This grand prix should not be for a belt, but, for the #1 contender spot.
But this is all just IMO.
