UFC Fight for the Troops 2 Peaks with 2.5 Million Viewers on Spike

Saturday’s UFC Fight for the Troops 2 broadcast on Spike TV peaked at 2.5 million viewers and averaged 1.85 million over the event, which saw Melvin Guillard knockout fellow lightweight Evan Dunham in the night’s main event

The event, which took place at Fort Hood in Texas and benefited the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, also aired four live prelims on Facebook before five bouts on Spike.

The figures are in line with December’s The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale, which peaked with 2.3 million viewers and averaged 2 million, and are up from September’s UFC Fight Night 22 that topped out at 1.6 million and averaged just 1.2 million.
