Jens Pulver Snaps Six-Fight Losing Streak with Win at XFO 38

Jens Pulver snapped his six-fight losing streak on Saturday night as the former UFC champion earned a 49-second submission of 6-19 Mike Lindquist in the main event of XFO 38 in Woodstock, Illinois.

It was Pulver’s first win since 2007, when he stopped Cub Swanson to earn a shot at the WEC title, before going on a six-fight skid that included WEC losses Urijah Faber, Leonard Garcia, Josh Grispi, and Javier Vasquez.

After being released by the WEC last year, Pulver suffered his fifth-straight first-round stoppage to Diego Garijo in August.

Pulver will fight again on March 5 in Chicago Cagefighting Championship against an opponent to-be-determined.
