Good to see Aldo get back fairly soon. That definitely helps this card a bit since it needs another marquee bout. Either way, it’ll no doubt be a successful event but I wonder who will face Aldo if Hominick loses. Any suggestions?

Dustin Porier, don’t know if he’s really earned it though.

Wow what a card this is, i want to see all the prelims too.

    woah! stacked card.
Man- I watched Faber vs Aldo last night…5 round fight, went the distance, but man o man Aldo has THE best leg kicks in MMA. If he ever lands a clean head kick to someone’s temple…may be the first mortality in ufc, lol. seriously though, no wonder Faber went to a different weight class. Aldo has to be cosidered in the same realm of a GSP or Anderson Silva. No he hasn’t been doing his thing as long or has defended the belt like they have, but that much pure talent can’t be dismissed. Extremely calculated, technical, raw power, size and strength, Truly amazing capabilities…especially considering the kind of athlete Urijah is. Don’t see this kid losing his belt any time soon.

Agree, this is one stacked card.
Is someone kidding me? GSP and Jose Aldo on the same card!! With Couture/Machida, Benderson/Bocek, Hamill/Davis! I am so stoked for this.

I see both champions retaining, no matter who they put in there with Aldo. And if I had to pick I’d say Machida, Bocek, and Hamill.

I know right?!?! ridonkulous card. I like Machida and Hamill too. Haven’t yet decided on the bocek-bendo fight just yet…If I had to lean one way it would prob hesitantly be towards Bocek. I see Henderson is slight odds favourite though.

      • Newfie says:

Henderson is the favorite, but IMO people underestimate Bocek.

i didn’t think this fight card needed another headliner. I didn’t realize that Couture vs Machida wasn’t good enough. But hey we’ve all got opinions. This is going to be a great fight card. Looking forward to seeing Aldo against some ufc competition. He’s going to be fun to watch for a long time i think.

    • JT King says:

I think the card would have been fine without another co-main event but considering it will be the first event in Toronto and the biggest UFC event ever, atleast in terms of attendance, another title fight/marquee fight will definitely be good.

  • rust.rob says:

Im calling it now. Randy couture TKO 2nd round.

  • Mikemac says:

Awesome card, can’t wait to see Aldo’s ufc debut, also looking forward to the rory macdonald-Diaz fight. I hope Randy wins but I don’t like his chances against machida.

  • TC says:

2 belts in one night? That never happened in UFC history before.
