With a shortage of suitable venues, UFC President Dana White told MMAjunkie today that the UFC hasn’t finalized its plans for the card.
“We’re still working on it,” White said. “It just depends on our schedule and what we do. The guys in Abu Dhabi want a fight, so we’ll see what happens.
The UFC’s upcoming schedule is already packed with UFC 127 on Feb. 27, UFC 129 on March 19, and UFC 130 and UFC 131 in April, leaving it unclear whether the UFC would simply move the event, which also includes Tito Ortiz vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, or merge it with another card.
But with one international event potentially off, another has emerged as White announced that the UFC will debut in Scotland with UFC Fight Night 25 in May, which follows the recently-reported UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26.
