Jorge Oliveira upset heavy-handed UFC veteran James Irvin with a first-round submission in the main event of Tachi Palace Fighting’s “TPF 7: Deck the Halls” on Thursday in Lemoore, California.
The Ultimate Fighter 11′s Seth Baczysnki and WEC vet Tim McKenzie delivered the fight of the night after McKenzie seemingly injured Baczynski with an armbar only to be reversed and swiftly knocked out with a barrage of elbows.
The card also including the successful U.S. debut of undefeated Brazilian flyweight Jussier da Silva over Danny Martinez, while Micah Miller tapped champ Isaac DeJesus in the opening round, but failed to win the featherweight title after missing weight.
