That’s something of a weak card, I think.
I’m looking forward to Cole Miller v Jeremy Stephens though. That should be higher up the card.
I agree, it looks somewhat weak on paper. I mean going from a main event of Guida/Huerta at the TUF finale to Swick/Burkman?? Of course since it looks weak on paper it will probably turn out to be a great night of fights and will put UFC 80 to shame.
Swick/Burkman is almost a KO guarentee guys, and Cote’ vs. McFreddies should be a great fight. Cote’ is finally working his way back up the ladder.
Cote….Cote, Cote, Cote, Cote. Really like the fact that he’s been given a chance to redeem his early setbacks in the UFC (granted he did take on some tough competition and Tito was a last second replacement). Hope we see the Corey Hill fight too, at least as a late filler if it isn’t on the main card.
These first two fights listed have the potential to be great KOs either way. If Drew doesn’t catch Cote, he’ll gas and get caught himself. I think Swick will be back and looking to jump in to the WW division with a bang.
Swick vs Burkman is going to be awesome. We all know what to expect from Swick hes going to come out hard fast and with bad intentions. And Burkman I didnt see his last fight but the one before that against Karo was great and if he has half the preformance he did then this fight will be action packed. Cote vs McFreddies I dont see how that doesnt end in a big KO. Tiago Tarves after what he did against Tyson Griffin Im really excited to see him. Im curious to see how the TUF 5 cast does especially Corey Hill. Hes spent alot of time training and learning with Jens Pulver and the MFS crew so I really want to see his improvements if any. Pellegrino vs Alberto Crane is the only fight Im not sure about. I know Pellegrino is good his one downfall is he seems to gas out in his fights and Alberto Crane I know very little about except for the fact that he got whooped on by Huerta which it also seemed like he gassed during that fight. So aside from them 2 this fight night is very interesting atleast to me
man thats such a boring main event but some of the other fights are i wanna see how cory hill does
The two main fights on the card is gonna be awesome. I think Swick will win by decision. I will go with Drew McFedries by KO because I think Cote might think he is better than he really is and not take Drew as seriously as he should. I could be wrong about Cote losing, but only time will tell.
Another thing is I wonder if the winner of the McFedries vs. Cote fight will be the number two contender bedind Hendo? Probably not, but it will be interesting to see who will get the next Middleweight title shot depending on who wins between Hendo and Silva.
All I need to say is, BEWARE OF MCFEDRIES! The dude is a monster. He will knockout Cote. He gets better and better, just another example of the badasses that come out of MFS. Yes, even Tim Sylvia haha.
I cant stand Thiago Tavares either. I hope he gets his as handed to him.
i like cote in the fight he is a good fighter drew has so heavy hands and is pretty good as well
