wow man great finale that war and J FIGHT WAS SICK HELLA OF A FIGHT
Damn J-Rod and War Machine stole the show! those two really deserve contracts. Big ups to Mac, for a vegan he can whip ass.
the main event was good 2 i like how guida fights but hureta over came the odds and won i have respect 4 dat guy
Amazing Fights, AMAZING!
it sucks i had to work tonite and missed the finals….can anyone enlighten me as to wwat the announcement was???
War Machine!! War Machine!! War Machine!!
Mac can whoop ass period not just “for a vegan”. tommy just got himself out of his element, i think he’s a great fighter…Warmachine and J-roC, craziest fight of the night… they both belong in the UFC…as well as hightower in my opinion, little ****head of a person, but great fighter and respectfull after the fight. pissed that not all 9 fights on the card were aired, and whats with the whole, “commercial free” and it wasn’t commercial free?! they shouda filled the time with the other 2 fights!
Announcement was lame. Forrest will be a coach on TUF 7. Kinda cool, but I figured it would be Big John inducted into the HALL OF FAME. The fights were the best in quite a while, and we will definately see J-Rock and Warmachine again. Great interview with War after the fight.
No kidding, I didnt hear anything about Big John retiring. I figured they would at least mention it. I was a little upset last night. Although the fights were good….actually some of the better ones in a while….out of the 9 fights….I only got 3 fights right…and they were the prelims. If thats how it is im picking GSP to win, and Silva to win haha.
I enjoyed the Ultimate Fighter Finale very much. Griffin vs. Rampage will be one of the best fights ever; I can’t wait for that one!
That was a great night of fights, and for free! I’m somewhat surprised given the quality of the fights during the season but then again I’m not. The guys came into the show with potential but not a lot of experience so in a way its not surprising that with a few months of training with a good team we’d see a lot of improvement.
I was happy to see Huerta win but sad to see Guida lose. Hopefully Guida can pick up a win in his next fight because he’s exciting to watch and I’d hate for him to lose his spot in the UFC if he keeps losing.
And finally, Griffin/Rampage on TUF7 will be great and I’ll be watching for sure.
Any thoughts on Matt Hughes not being in the corner for either of his fighters? Remember he ragged on Matt Serra for not being “professional”. More food for thought: Why is Serra not a big puss for “backing” out on his fight with Hughes, yet Arroyo was disrespected by Dana White for doing the same thing? Why didn’t Serra “man-up” like he always preaches?
1st- Matt Hughes isn’t their coach anymore.
B- Serra got a doctor’s excuse to miss class.
2.5- Have you ever had a Herniated disc? It’s hell! I have been down for 8 months, and now I have to change my profession from something that I have been doing for 15yrs, and making good money at. I know Tito fought Rashad with a Herniated disc, and has been eating **** from all of you for it since then.
Sorry scotchydow, but I respectfully disagree with your response.
1st- Matt Hughes “technically” is still their coach until the conclusion of the competition. The conclusion was the finals.
B- Arroyo also had a doctor’s excuse.
2.5- Have you ever had a rib injury? It is also hell! You can’t even breathe.
I think you might have missed the irony of it all.
What I was saying is I don’t think Serra was cleared to fight, or the UFC would have probablly made him. Arroyo had doctor’s clearence. I got the irony, but realisticly, both fighters were trainning with their own teams, and probablly wanted their team in their corner. Matt did come in and congratulate both fighters, and still held some pride in them both being there.
Yes, I have had cracked ribs, and bruised lungs, it sucks. I had to sleep in a chair sitting up for 2 months, but I was cleared to work. Serra wasn’t cleared to work. I wish he would have been though so he could have his big trap slammed shut. He talked A LOT of **** for it to end up like this.
If you watch the interview with Hughes on Youtube (dont remember what the site) and he said neither fighter wanted him in their corner because they didnt want to put that on Hughes to choose. Both fighters have thier own coaches and trainers as well that cornered them, although Speer did train with Hughes.
Sotiropoulos is such a good fighter; I would love to see him rematch Speer.
