Cole Miller vs. Matt Wiman Shifted to UFC Fight for the Troops 2 from UFC 125

Matt WimanA matchup between lightweights Cole Miller and Matt Wiman originally slated for the preliminary card of UFC 125 on New Year’s Day has been added to the main card of UFC Fight for the Troops 2 on Jan. 22 at Fort Hood, Texas, the UFC recently announced.

Miller (17-4) has won 4 of his last 5 after rebounding from a loss to Efrain Escudero with wins over Dan Lauzon and Ross Pearson in 2010, while Wiman (12-5) is coming off a controversial submission of Mac Danzig in June for his second-straight win.

The Spike-televised UFC Fight for the Troops 2 fight card is headlined by lightweights Kenny Florian vs. Evan Dunham and also includes Mike Swick vs. David Mitchell, Matt Mitrione vs. Tim Hague, and Yves Edwards vs. Melvin Guillard.
