WEC 53, World Extreme Cagefighting’s final event before merging with the UFC, has added lightweights Danny Castillo vs. Will Kerr and bantamweights Renan Barao vs. Chris Cariaso to the preliminary card of the Dec. 16 event in Phoenix.
The Versus-televised card is headlined by lightweight champ Ben Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis and bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz vs. Scott Jorgensen.
The WEC 53 fight card is also rumored to include Donald Cerrone vs. Chris Horodecki and Jamie Varner vs. Shane Roller.
