So exactly how many warnings for holding the cage did Chivitchian receive?
    Three?
    Four?
How many round-changing takedowns did he swerve by illegally holding the cage?
At least two that I clearly saw.
Exactly when does a guy lose a point [and possibly the round] for flipping off the rules IN FRONT OF THE REF?
Not only did Sayers get no love from either the ref or the judges, but Dana White hands a wildcard spot to a Koscheck guy who got hooked and subbed in TUF record time by a crab fisherman, as opposed to a GSP-RECOMMENDED guy who fought his heart out and held his own against a top shelf judoka.

When exactly did sharp officiating and sportsmanship check out of Hotel TUF??
    Just plain sh!t-awful IMO…

There WERE in fact 2 takedowns that would have gone to sayers but the other end of it is that he was using fence as leverage to keep sayers up against it and in most cases sayers still turned it around on him.

I agree with you completely. And if I remember correctly chivitchian got him down twice? So those two takedowns would have been crucial to the scoring of the rounds.

As for the picks…. its a good matchup but a great matchup would have been sayers and wilkinson. IMO.

I was not happy about the fence grabbing either.

Stevens gets a wild card!!!! That’s some lame a$$ $hit.

    • kevguy201 says:

hey he looked good for at least 10 seconds of his fight:~)

    • Justin says:

I think Dana did that to try to keep as many of Kos’ guys in the running as possible, I don’t think it had anything to do with who deserved it.

      • jpmm says:

I makes a mockery of the program if you ask me, actually no it doesn’t, this series had been my favorite for a while but it seriously pi$$es me off when a guy who is completely undeserved of a wild card gets the free ticket because he’s friend with one guy or his face fits with another. When these guys entered the house they’re not Kos’ guys or GSP guys, there just fighters trying to achieve a goal it shouldn’t make a difference what team they are coached by.

Poor decisions like this devalue the program, its like something off x-factor (american idol).

      • Justin says:

I’m with ya, but the truth is, the show was devalued a long time ago, many good fighters get passed over for the show because they don’t have an entertaining enough personality… IE, Jon Fitch.

      • jcohl says:

        @justin -
Really sharp point about TUF’s devaluation.
At its heart it is a reality [competition] TV show, and being straight here, exactly how much value do these types of shows have to begin with?
Sure, on rare occasion some deserving individual/family gets a house or a car or a fresh start with a fat check, but usually?
Not so much, at least from what I have seen, which regrettably is quite a bit, seeing as how my female is reality TV-addicted ;-)

Factor in Dana “King of the Mountain” White and how he treats some fighters, and well…lets just say that maybe its a bit too much “reality” for me…

I can’t wait for GSP to break Kos’ face…

  • JiutjitsuMAN says:

i dont understand how sako won both rounds?

the first round he almost lost but due to danes’ lack of grappling expereince he lost control of the sub…

also for a supposed world class judoka his take downs were pathetic… i was expecting some karo-esq take downs and throws…

i expect to see Dane in the UFC and be a good fighter within a couple years… i expect to see sako get into bellator and thats about it…

  • Random says:

Dane did look like he got tired fast, and he didn’t look like he holds enough power to force the choke and finish it.
I do think that they should have gone to the 3rd round.

The thing that pisses me off lots of times is fighters grabbing the fence. Even if they are taken down while grabbing the fence it still takes more force out of their opponent to finish it, and makes him more tired, which in the less experienced fighters is crucial.

that stevens kids is a total d bag, his boxing looked horrible against a guy who just ran at him. any good boxer just wouldve stepped back set him self and got ready to fight, i couldnt believe how bad he looked and sako barely won that fight and shouldve got points taken away. unbelieveable stevens probably s*cks kos’s d.
