BOBBY LASHLEY VS. CHAD GRIGGS
Round 1 – Lashley and Griggs touch gloves. Lashley immediately scores a takedown and passes to half guard then side control then gets free to unload a few punches as Griggs struggles to keep him under control. Lashley unloads bursts of ground and pound as he keeps Griggs pinned. Lashley tries for mount, but Griggs stops it and Lashley goes back to ground and pound. Griggs explodes back to his feet and Lashley quickly tried for another takedown. Griggs grabs the fence to stay on his feet, but Lashley finally gets him back down. Griggs gets up again and blasts Lashley with a knee in the clinch. Lashley gets a takedown on a restart, but eats a punch on the way in which opens a cut. Lashley finishes the round with more ground and pound from the top. MMAFrenzy.com scores the round for Lashley 10-9.

Round 2 – Griggs stalks forward, but Lashley picks him up and slams him to the ground. Lashley tries to ground and pound from half guard, but Griggs keeps him under control. Lashley punches the body before passing to side control where he drops more punches. They’re pressed for action and Lashley passes to mount and drops big punches. Griggs tries to buck free, but Lashley stays on and postures with more ground and pound but seems to be slowing. Still in mount, Lashley takes a break and punches the body then drops more punches. The referee suprisingly stands them up from mount and a doctor takes a look at Lashley’s eye but he’s allowed to continue. A tired Lashley shoots again, but Griggs stops it and unloads punches until the bell sounds as Lashley clings to his leg. Lashley is stunned and the ref calls the fight.

KJ NOONS VS. JORGE GURGEL
Round 1 – Gurgel fires kicks to start the action as Noons stalks forward, then connects with a punch. More kicks by Gurgel, then a combo as Noons closes in. Noons lands with jabs to the body, but Gurgel keeps his distance with lots of kicks, though most don’t connect. Kick by Gurgel lands to the body, but he eats a punch. Gurgel looks to close in, but eats a punch. Noons lands against the fence, while Gurgel continues to fire kicks. Noons finds the mark with some kicks, but Gurgel fires back with more of his own. Gurgel and Noons fire punches, but few connect. Gurgel shoots, but it’s easily avoided by Noons. Noon connects with a combo, then lands punches to the body. Noons just misses with a head kick, then both fighters unload a flurry of punches. Noons drops Gurgel witha split-second after the bell sounds.
Round 2 – Gurgel doesn’t know he was knocked down, but continues anways. Noons drops Gurgel with an overhand right in the opening seconds. Noons wants a stoppage, but the ref doesn’t step in and he unloads punches and a final knee to put him away.

TIM KENNEDY VS. RONALDO “JACARE” SOUZA
Vacant Strikeforce middleweight championship
Round 1 – Both fighters are tentative to start the bout as they look to find their range. Jacare unloads first, but Kennedy avoids. Souze fires again and Kennedy counters. Jacare follows up a push kick with a combo against the fence. Jacare counters as Kennedy closes in then unloads another combo near the fence, but Kennedy counters. Jacare continues to control the center of the cage and winds up for powerful punches, but most miss. Kennedy rushes forward with punches and Jacare slips, but gets back to his feet. Kennedy unloads some strikes in the clinch before they separate and the bell sounds. MMAFrenzy.com scores the first for Jacare 10-9.
Round 2 – Kennedy and Jacare circle in the middleweight of the cage as they look for openings. Kennedy lands a solid combo. Kennedy slips as he closes in, but immediately pops back to his feet. Jacare lands with a right as Kennedy controls the center. Kennedy connects again, then Jacare fires back. Kennedy with a solid kick to Jacares leg. Kennedy gets into the clinch, but Jacare lands a punch as they separate. Souza briefly controls the pace, but Kennedy gets it back with leg kicks. Jacare shoots, but Kennedy stays on his feet against the fence. Superman punch by Kennedy connects. Jacare connects with solid punches and a push kick to the face before the bell. MMAFrenzy.com scores the second for Jacare 10-9, putting him up 20-18.
Round 3 – Kennedy and Jacare get close against the fence and throw wild punches, but little connects. Kennedy connects, but Jacare has barely looked to take him to the ground thus far and hasn’t yet in the third. Jacare opens up a cut above Kennedy’s eye in an exchange, then connects with more punches punctuated with another push kick. Kennedy takes back the center of the cage and scores a takedown into Jacare’s guard. Jacare keeps his legs high before bursting back to his feet. Kennedy drips blood and he stays aggressive, but Jacare surprisingly gets the better of most exchanges. Jacare punches the body before the bell. It’s probably the closest round yet, but MMAFrenzy.com gives Jacare the third 10-9 and he’s now up 30-27.
Round 4 – Kennedy opens the fourth with leg kicks, then counters with punches. More leg kicks by Kennedy as they trade in the middleweight of the cage. Jacare struggles to find the mark with his punches, but Kennedy can’t either. Jacare presses for a takedown, but Kennedy stays on his feet then stalks forward and throws another kick. Jacare winds up for big punches and unloads as Kennedy moves in with a low kick, which catches Jacare in the groin. During the break, Kennedy’s eye is show and it’s badly swollen. With Jacare recovered and an issue with the official clock fixed, the fight resumes and Kennedy shoots but Jacare sprawls to stay on his feet. Jacare fires low kicks as Kennedy looks for an opening for his punches. They circle, but little connects before the bell. MMAFrenzy.com gives the fourth to Kennedy, making it 39-37 Jacare.
Round 5 – Kennedy fires a head kick then unloads a combo to start the final round. Jacare tries to clinch, but Kennedy powers free and tags him with a left ho0k. Kennedy has Jacare backpedaling as he rushes forward with punches, but Jacare lands with a right that re-opens his cut. Kennedy tries for a takedown, but Jacare avoids and unloads punches. Kennedy uses punches to get into the clinch, but Jacare escapes. Kennedy fires a leg kick, then lands to the body, while Jacare connects with another right. They quickly separate from another clinch, then Jacare ducks a punch to take his back but Kennedy fends him off. Jacare connects with some big rights late, then Kennedy drags him down at the last-second. MMAFrenzy.com scores the fifth 10-10, but has Jacare winning 49-47.

Round 1 – Lawal and Feijao touch gloves and the action quickly starts with Feijao rushing forward with punches. Lawal unloads a combo again the fence and looks for an early takedown, but Feijao narrowly stays on his feet. Lawal slams Feijao down but he’s immediately back to his feet. Lawal unloads knees to the legs before Feijao escapes. Lawal stays low and works the body before firing for the head. Feijao winds up with punches, but can’t find the mark with most. Feijao lands an uppercut then a knee as Lawal shoots and stays on his feet. Feijao uses a punch to setup knees against the fence. There’s a lull in the action until Feijao misses with looping punches. Neith fighter does much in the final minute until Feijao unloads a leg kick late. MMAFrenzy.com scores the first for Feijao 10-9.
Round 2 – Feijao chops a Lawal with an early leg kick. Lawal rushes forward with punches against the fence before circling away. Another leg kick by Feijao. Lawal switches stances and connects with punches. Lawal eats a kick, but scores a takedown in a scramble and pours on some punches from the top before Feijao scrambles back up. They take turns rushing forward with punches. Feijao misses and Lawal connects to the body. Lawal keeping his hands lower, but Feijao misses. Lawal works the body again, then back to the head. More body shots by Lawal into the clinch, where Mo unloads some knees before the bell. MMAFrenzy.com gives the second to Lawal 10-9, evening the fight at 19-19.
Round 3 – Feijao rocks Lawal with punches early in the third and eventually drops him. Lawal grabs a leg to try to survive, but Feijao keeps the pressure on and unloads elbows to stop the champion in the third.
