#67 - I disagree. There are plenty of questions to be asked and all will be answered tomorrow night. I believe Silva will win, but won't be surprised if Hendo wins. I'm anxious to see how Hendo's clutch and Silva's Mui Thai compare, as well as Silva's BJJ vs Hendo's Wrestling/GNP. Enjoy the fights! I'll be in Section 121 Lower Level, Row HH, Seat 3. Anyone going, stop over and say hey (damn suits hogged all the loge seats, oh well).

This, like all top-level MMA matches, will be a chess match. We have seen that Silva starts slowly, as a counter-puncher in the first round. Once he connects with a solid counter, he gains confidence and starts to step in, circle, and throw combinations. He has natural talent unlike any other MMA fighter I have seen. He also has the calm, confident intellect of a champion (think of Fedor) that allows him to see all openings, instead trying to force things that aren't there. However............Hendo is a very smart fighter that has fought the best in the sport. When I say smart, I mean that he is on the same level as a Randy Couture when it comes to executing a gameplan. Hendo will throw his overhand right early and often, while he has the energy to throw it effectively. He will miss, but it won't be devastating because Silva only counters with one or two punches early in his fights. The greater effect will be that it will allow Dan to easily use his right hand to feign and that step inside into the clinch, where he is unlike anything the spider has ever seen before. It is inevitable that Dan will get the takedown and end up on top. The main question that I have is what happens from there. I thought Dan's GNP game looked weak agaist Rampage. Dan had top position and didn't really land anything devastating. If he lays on top and wastes energy keeping the spider down, he could be in trouble when the ref stands them up. I have questions about silva'a ability to go 5 hard rounds only because we have never seen him do it. My heart says Hendo, but my brain says Silva. Oh and btw, Shogun fought Forest with a torn-up knee which is why he couldn't do cardio for months before the fight, causing him to gas so quickly. I can't stand when people say Forest is a better fighter. He has no talent and it's a joke that he gets to fight 'page for the title just because he beat an injured shogun, who was supposed to get a title fight if he won. Rampage will prove my point when he eats Forest alive. Also, Shogun is healthy now, and he is fighting chuck in June. I think I'll start drinking now for that one. WOW.

after watching Dans last fight with rampage, it was close, QJ is a different type fighter then anderson, QJ hands are better and he is stronger, more disigned for a grinding match as is hendso, but anderson has better knees, if u watch most of AS victories, his main strike is his knee, flying or in the clinch, for hendo to win this he will have to take AS in the later rounds and test his cardio and also AS chin. Hendo is more likely to win a grinding type wresting match( similar to MH style). During the fight with QJ, hendo ducked his head often, if he does this against silva it will be a big mistake, he may be able to strike from the outside, but inside AS knees are very dangerous

sorry for the bad english, its not my first lang

Anderson is good dont get me wrong he is a bad ass, I just think Henderson is more of a brawler whos not afraid to mix it up like alot of other fighters plus hes a better wrestler than Andersons other opponents so in this case he should be able to take Anderson down at will and mark my words he will, I know for a fact hes going to give Anderson problems. Lets say Anderson throws him in the Muy Thai clinch Henderson is stonger than other cats and will break it, the only thing henderson needs to watch out for is getting caught other than that hes good just like the sunshine. Like i said anderson silvas first real threat to the title, if he beats Henderson he goes down as one of the baddest in UFC history in my opinion. As for Rich franklin that guys a local stud but you can predict almost evrything he going to do in a fight also I dont see his stand up improving he needs top try new techniques and get the inside brawl style like Couture and maybe work some Mu Thai and some takedowns and some Brazillian Jiu jit su the he can whip Anderson.

anyone can get knocked out at anytime... So for someone to think hendo is gonna win just because he knocked out wandi is just plain crazy. my personal opinion (just my opinion) hendo is not better than franklin. It seems to me that there is a lot of haterism out there.. Yea it may be boring for anderson to keep destroying everyone but just give the man his props for being the best and stop tryin to find excuses for every opponent of his to have this great shot of winning. Now i'm not saying its going to be a 30 second fight but I truly do not believe hendo has a shot in hell..

This is gonna be a really close match. Hendo has a chance, but I still see Silva having the edge due to underratted BJJ. Hendo is tenatious and never quits, however, and this will be more a test of the untested Silva's heart than anything else.
