WEC 50 Bonuses: Pettis, Jorgensen, Pickett, Jewtuszko Earn $10K Awards

Anthony PettisAnthony Pettis, Scott Jorgensen, Brad Pickett, and Maciej Jewtuszko each earned $10,000 fight night bonuses for their performances at Wednesday’s “WEC 50: Cruz vs. Benavidez” event in Las Vegas.

Pettis won “Submission of the Night” for forcing fellow lightweight contender Shane Roller to tap to a triangle choke with just 9-seconds remaining in the co-main event.

Jorgensen and Pickett earned “Fight of the Night” honors for their thrilling, back-and-forth battle on the Versus-televised main card, which Jorgensen ultimately won by unanimous decision.

Jewtuszko made the most of his WEC debut, as he remained undefeated and scored “Knockout of the Night” with a first-round TKO of Anthony Njokuani just 1:35 into the opening round.
