Welterweight prospect Rory MacDonald will look to rebound from his first career loss when he takes on TUF veteran Matt Brown at “UFC 123: Rampage vs. Machida” on November 20, according to Joe Ferraro.
MacDonald (10-1) improved to 10-0 with a first-round submission of Mike Guymon in his UFC debut in January, but suffered a third-round TKO to former WEC champ Carlos Condit in the “Fight of the Night” at June’s UFC 115.
Brown (11-9) stopped James Wilks in November for his third-straight win but has since dropped two-straight to Ricardo Almeida in March and Chris Lytle at UFC 116 in July.
The UFC 123 fight card, which does not yet have a location, is headlined by former light heavyweight champs Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Lyoto Machida.
