Dustin Hazelett Dropping to Lightweight for Next UFC Fight

Dustin Hazelett is dropping from welterweight to the lightweight division for his next UFC fight, Heavy reports, after suffering a second-round TKO to Rick Story on the undercard of Saturday’s UFC 117 for his second-straight loss at 170-pounds.

Hazelett (12-6) has gone 5-4 in 9 UFC bouts dating back to his debut in 2006, including a unanimous decision over Diego Saraiva in 2007 in his lone fight at 155-pounds.

“McLovin” earned wins over Josh Burkman and Tamdan McCrory in 2008, but was sidelined all of  2009 before returning this year with back-to-back losses to Paul Daley and Story.
