Josh Koscheck: If GSP Doesn’t Believe I’m Better, He’s Getting Knocked Out at UFC 124

Josh KoscheckUpcoming welterweight challenger Josh Koscheck says he saw weaknesses in champ Georges St-Pierre while coaching on The Ultimate Fighter 12 and that if GSP doesn’t believe he’s improved since their first meeting in 2007 he’ll get knocked out when they rematch on December 11:

“I saw some weakness in him and I definitely plan to use that against him,” Koscheck told Yahoo Sports. “I think he knows he has his hands full with me. Well, I don’t know, maybe he doesn’t. Maybe he doesn’t believe I’m a better fighter than I was [in 2007] and if he doesn’t, it’s his mistake. If he feels that way, I know he’s going to wake up after getting knocked out and say to himself, ‘Oh [expletive], I should have taken him seriously.’ ”

“I’m confident and I believe in myself and I believe I’m going to win and Georges knows that now,” Koscheck said. “How people wind up perceiving that, frankly, I don’t care. I think this is a good season and people will enjoy it, but I’m all about winning. If the fans like me, great, but that’s not my goal in this. My goal is to get that belt and that’s what this is all about.”
