I think Anthony Johnson will be a better fighter at 185. I can’t imagine how he cuts to 170 and what impact it has on his performance.
i agree i think he can be a lot more competitive in that division than at 170
all signs point to rich vs forrest possibly co main on the gsp kos card?
Sounds good to me.
^That would be fantastic, as for Rumble the guy is so huge even at 185 he will still be one of the biggest guys in the division.
And its not like the 185 weightclass couldn’t use another decent fighter.
Good thing that Anderson Silva recently “decided” that he’ll fight at 185. With guys like Vitor Belfort, Rumble Johnson, Bisping, Akiyama, Marquardt, Maia, and Wand competing at 185, there will be plenty of good fights which should produce a few promotable contenders to keep Silva busy until he gets bored again…
Yeah I really wanna see rumble johnson @ 185
Can’t wait
Just an opinion, but I have always thought that Rick Franklin vs. Michael Bisping would be a intense, technically sound stand-up war. Mabey some time in 2011 i’ll get my wish.
